From Rabbi Gottlieb (Congregation Shomrei Emunah)

There has been some confusion about the parameters of the Eruv, in particular with regards to the Quarry. Unfortunately people have walked there without realizing that it is, as of yet, not included in the Eruv.

I want to thank Rabbi Teichman for clarifying with the organizers of the Eruv that is the stretch of Greenspring Ave. immediately after the "Gazebo/Observation area" entrance until after Quarry Lake Drive (the main entrance to the Quarry shopping area) where NEITHER side of Greenspring Ave is inside the Eruv, thus making it impossible to carry anything to the main entrance of the Quarry .

It is also important to note that the nearby Summit Park Playground is also OUTSIDE the Eruv. Many thanks to Azi Rosenbloom for preparing the attached a map of the area and the limits of the Eruv.
