I have been davening at the Shul at the Lubavitch Center for the past four years. Over that time, I have developed a special appreciation for the many features that the shul provides, from both a spiritual and a material perspective. The shul offers all mispallelim, from established members to first-time attendees, a warm, heimish environment. With comfortable, spacious seating arrangements, and friendly, outgoing gabbeim and shul representatives, every person who comes to the shul feels welcome. Additionally, I am always impressed with the Rav's ability to take a message from the parsha or the events of the day and clearly impart valuable hadracha for processing current events or an approach for living one's life. Of course, when discussing the shul, it is hard to ignore the weekly sit-down kiddushim, an experience which allows mispallelim to socialize with friends, listen to divrei torah from the Rav, sing zemiros, and enjoy some of the best cholent and herring in town. I hope to continue davening at the shul for many more years and do my part to help the membership grow. It is my wish that in the coming years, other community members are introduced to the spiritual, inspiring experience that is the Shul at the Lubavitch Center. -- Dovi Ziffer
